Great Leaders Repeat Themselves.

One of the quickest ways to spot an inexperienced leader is to hear, “I already said this.”

Of course you did. The question is whether anyone understood it, remembered it, or knew what to do with it.

People do not absorb priorities, expectations, or values after hearing them once. Repetition is how ideas become familiar, and familiarity is how they become part of the culture.

Parents repeat lessons. Teachers revisit concepts. Coaches return to the fundamentals. Leadership works the same way.

This does not mean repeating the exact same speech every week. It means consistently reinforcing what matters most, especially when priorities shift, new people join, or the team gets distracted.

If the message matters, say it again.
