Feeling ‘Off’ Isn’t a Failure - It’s Feedback.

You don’t need to be in a full-blown crisis for your system to be waving the white flag. That subtle 'off' feeling? The random irritability, the emotional flatline, the weird sense that you’re here but not fully *here*—that’s not failure. That’s feedback.

Your body is a brilliant communicator. It just doesn’t always use words. Sometimes it whispers with restlessness, tight shoulders, or a lack of motivation. Sometimes it yells with exhaustion, short fuses, or shutting down altogether. And the problem isn’t that these signals exist—it’s that we’re taught to override them. To drink more coffee. Push through. Keep grinding. Be grateful and get on with it.

But what if we didn’t see 'off' as a weakness to fix? What if we saw it as data? A nudge. An internal post-it note saying, 'Hey, something’s not aligned here.'

Feeling off might mean you’ve outgrown something. It might mean you’re overwhelmed and pretending not to be. It might mean your system is screaming for a pause—one you’ve been putting off for weeks.

Here’s the twist: sometimes what we call 'feeling off' is actually the early stage of clarity. The part before things click. The discomfort that signals change is coming—if we let it.

So next time you find yourself out of sorts, resist the urge to label it as failure. Instead, get curious. Ask your body, your brain, your heart: what are you trying to tell me?

And then—don’t just listen. Adjust. Even just a little. Because 'off' isn’t the end of the story. It’s usually the beginning of something much more honest.
